Stocks To Watch For January 31, 2014

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects MasterCard MA to report its Q4 earnings at $0.60 per share on revenue of $2.14 billion. MasterCard shares gained 1.30% to $80.80 in after-hours trading. Google GOOG reported downbeat fourth-quarter earnings. The company also announced its plans to split its stock. Google shares surged 4.11% to $1,182.10 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Mattel MAT to have earned $1.20 per share on revenue of $2.37 billion in the fourth quarter. Mattel shares rose 0.09% to $43.05 in after-hours trading. Zynga ZNGA announced its plans to lower its workforce by 15%. The company also announced that it is buying NaturalMotion for $527 million. Zynga shares jumped 17.98% to $4.20 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Chevron CVX to report its Q4 earnings at $2.57 per share on revenue of $63.14 billion. Chevron shares fell 0.09% to $116.35 in after-hours trading.
