GB Group Posts Rise In H1 Profit

GB Group PLC posted an increase in its interim pretax profit for the six months ended Sept. 30. GB Group's revenue for the period surged to GBP18.1 million, from GBP17.7 million, in the year-ago period. Its adjusted operating profit surged 70% to GBP2.6 million from GBP1.5 million. GB Group's profit before tax jumped 165% to GBP1.3 million from GBP0.5 million, while diluted earnings per share gained to 1.0 pence from 0.5 pence.
