PZU Q4 Net Profit Drops 14.8%

Poland's Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA reported a 14.8% drop in its fourth-quarter net profit. PZU's quarterly profit declined to 415 million zlotys ($130.7 million), versus analysts' estimates of PLN642 million. Its net claims in the quarter rose 46% to PLN3.79 billion.
