Dun & Bradstreet DNB reported downbeat fourth-quarter profit.
Dun & Bradstreet's quarterly net income rose to $96 million, or $2.20 per share, from $93.4 million, or $1.93 per share, in the year-earlier period. Excluding one-time items, tt earned $2.38 per share.
Its total revenue declined 7% to $463.1 million. However, analysts expected earnings of $2.46 per share on revenue of $477.9 million.
For 2012, Dun & Bradstreet's earnings came in at $295.4 million, on revenue of $1.66 billion.
Dun & Bradstreet shares dropped 5.59% to $80.51 in after-hours trading.
