UPDATE: Check Point Software Posts Upbeat Q4 Profit

Check Point Software Technologies CHKP reported upbeat fourth-quarter profit. Check Point Software's quarterly earnings, excluding one-off items, came in at $0.91 per share, versus $0.84 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed 3% to $369 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.88 per share on revenue of $374 million. Check Point Software shares closed at $47.97 yesterday.
