International Game Technology IGT reported a rise in its first-quarter earnings.
International Game's quarterly profit surged to $65.3 million, or $0.24 per share, versus $49.3 million, or $0.16 per share, in the year-earlier period. On an adjusted basis, its earnings from continuing operations came in at $0.28 per share.
Its revenue rose to $530.3 million from $445.5 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.24 per share on revenue of $524.4 million.
International Game shares rose 0.13% to $15.24 in after-hours trading.
