Bank Handlowy Q3 Net Profit Surges 37%

, reported a 37% rise in its third-quarter net profit. Bank Handlowy's quarterly net profit surged to 251.2 million zlotys ($78 million), versus estimates of PLN225.9 million. Its net interest income climbed 4% to PLN370.2 million, while net fee and commission income declined 3% to PLN151.8 million. The bank's costs dropped 6% to PLN336.8 million.
