Vivendi SA VIVHY reported a drop in its profit in the second quarter.
Vivendi's quarterly net income dropped 44% to 463 million euros ($583 million), versus EUR824 billion, in the year-ago period. Its adjusted earnings before interest and tax declined 21% to EUR1.32 billion.
Vivendi's revenue dropped 1.5% to EUR6.97 billion, from EUR7.07 billion.
Vivendi shares fell 2.69% to close at $18.84 yesterday.
