Evraz Posts H1 Net Loss

Evraz PLC EVRZF swung to a net loss in the first half of 2011. Evraz posted a total net loss of $50 million, versus a year-ago profit of $263 million. Its revenue fell 9.1% to $7.6 billion, from $8.38 billion. Its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) dropped 28% to $1.18 billion, from $1.63 billion.
