Stocks To Watch For July 24

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects EMC EMC to report its Q2 earnings at $0.39 per share on revenue of $5.3 billion. EMC shares fell 0.81% to $24.60 in after-hours trading. DeVry DV issued a downbeat fiscal fourth-quarter earnings forecast. The company also announced its plans to cut around 570 jobs. DeVry shares tumbled 22.35% to $21.40 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Lockheed Martin LMT to post its Q2 earnings at $1.91 per share on revenue of $11.31 billion. Lockheed Martin shares fell 0.91% to close at $86.91 yesterday. VMware VMW reported a decline in its second-quarter net income. It also announced its plans to buy Nicira for around $1.26 billion. Vmware shares dropped 3.68% to $85.95 in the after-hours trading session. Sanmina-SCI SANM posted a drop in its quarterly profit. It expects a Q4 profit, excluding one-time items, of $0.32 to $0.38 per share on revenue of $1.58 billion to $1.63 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.34 per share on revenue of $1.53 billion. Sanmina-SCI shares jumped 11.56% to $8.01 in after-hours trading.
