VMWare, Yum! Brands, and F5 Networks Active After Earnings

VMWare VMW, Yum! Brands YUM and F5 Networks FFIV all released their quarterly earnings results on Wednesday after the closing bell. All of these names have been active in Wednesday's after hours trading session, with VMW and FFIV rising, and YUM registering a small decline. VMWare reported Q1 EPS of $0.66 versus estimates of $0.60. Revenues for the quarter came in at $1.06 billion versus estimates of $1.03 billion. The company also raised its forward looking guidance. In Wednesday's after hours trading session, VMW shares rose 2.52% to $114.10. Yum! Brands reported Q1 EPS of $0.76 which compared to Wall Street consensus estimates of $0.73. Revenues were up 14 percent to $2.74 billion, which exceeded analysts' consensus of $2.70 billion. In Wednesday's after hours session, YUM shares have lost 1.70% to $71.70. F5 Networks has soared in the after hours trading session after reporting strong second quarter results. The company posted EPS of $1.09 versus consensus EPS estimates of $1.07. Revenues were up 22.4 percent to $339.6 million which was ahead of analysts' consensus of $335.33 million. In late trading, FFIV shares were trading up 6.47% to $132.25.
