Shares of Clean Energy Fuels Corp. CLNE turned negative in afternoon trade on Tuesday, but the stock has been rallying in recent minutes and was trading down 2.92% to $19.95 at last check. In the last hour of trade, the stock has come off its worst levels of the session and could continue to see momentum into the close.
The company released its Q4 earnings yesterday after the closing bell. Clean Energy reported an adjusted loss of $14.8 million or $0.21 per share, versus income of $12.7 million or $0.17 per share, in last year's corresponding quarter. This compared to analysts' consensus EPS estimates of a loss of $0.17.
Revenues for the quarter were $86 million versus $83 million in the year ago period. This came in well ahead of analysts' consensus revenue estimates of $73.49 million.
