Chunghwa Telecom Projects Decline In 2012 Net Profit

Chunghwa Telecom Co CHT projects a 16.8% drop in its net profit this year. It projects its net profit to decline to NT$39.2 billion (US$1.33 billion), versus NT$47.1 billion in 2011. Chunghwa Telecom expects its revenue to drop 1.9% to NT$188.9 billion from NT$192.5 billion. Chunghwa Telecom shares closed at $31.60 yesterday.
