Sinopec Reports 3% Rise In Q3 Net Profit

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp SNP, or Sinopec, reported a 3% rise in its third-quarter net profit. Sinopec's quarterly net profit rose to CNY20.22 billion ($3.19 billion), from CNY19.63 billion, in the year-ago period, under international accounting standards. Sinopec shares gained 3.85% to close at $100.85 yesterday.
