Seagate STX is in talks to go private with TPG and KKR, for the second time in 10 years. I guess Seagate didn't like getting whipped in the face by the market for having a low growth business model. Google GOOG reported strong earnings after the bell last night, blowing away expectations. Google went from "Don't be evil" to "Use us or we'll kill you and eat your young." Angelo Mozilo settled with the SEC, and will pay a fine of $67.5 million to settle a civil suit against him for insider trading. Bank of America BAC agreed to pay the majority of the fine for Mozilo.
