Atlantic American Corporation Announces Special Cash Dividend

Atlantic American Corporation AAME today announced that its board of directors has declared a special cash dividend of $0.02 per share that will be payable on or about April 30, 2011, as described in more detail below, to shareholders of record as of March 31, 2011. “This special dividend reflects the continuing growth of our Company and the Company's sound balance sheet. Further, it demonstrates our commitment to our shareholders and to enhancing shareholder value. We remain focused on the long-term growth and profitability of our Company,” said Hilton H.
