Own A Tesla Charging Wall? You Can Now Host Self-Serve Demo Drives At Your Property

Tesla Inc. TSLA destination-charging property owners can now reportedly host self-serve demo drives at their properties.

What Happened: Tesla has wall connectors set up at hotels, restaurants, and parking garages to help vehicle owners charge on the go. These destinations are called destination charging locations, and Tesla is now allowing owners of these locations to get more out of their investments.

The company will provide these property owners with up to 4 demo drive vehicles and schedule and manage the self-serve demo drive appointments for the property owner at no cost. The vehicle, too, will be managed by the company.

The news was first flagged by Tesla enthusiast and investor Sawyer Merritt on X.

Why It Matters: Tesla launched the self-serve demo drive last year. Users can find a location where Tesla offers these drives, schedule a date and time for the drive via the Tesla app, and gain keyless access to the vehicle on reaching the location.
