Ross Gerber Lauds Tesla's Clean Energy Solution: 'Gas Is Stupid At This Point'

Gerber Kawasaki CEO Ross Gerber has once again championed Tesla Inc. TSLA as the superior clean energy solution. Gerber took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his observations at a Santa Monica gas station that had installed Tesla superchargers and a hydrogen pump.

What Happened: Gerber called the hydrogen solution ‘a disaster’ and deemed conventional gasoline “stupid at this point.” He further hailed Tesla’s approach as the “most dominant solution for clean energy.”

Why It Matters: This is not the first time Gerber has expressed his support for Tesla’s initiatives. Earlier in June, Gerber lauded General Motors’ decision to adopt Tesla’s North American charging plug standard, claiming it to be a ‘checkmate’ for Tesla’s dominance in the EV space.

The integration of Tesla’s charging system by other automakers greatly expands the accessibility of Tesla Supercharger stations, further establishing Tesla’s foothold in the clean energy sector.

In a previous post, Gerber also praised Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology, emphasizing the convenience it offers during heavy traffic and road trips.
