Airline Launches Adult-Only Zone On International Route, Offering Tranquility At A Price

In a pioneering move, Turkish-Dutch Corendon Airlines is set to inaugurate a special section strictly for adults on its international flights.

As reported by The Hill on Monday, this unique offering aims to provide passengers without children and business travelers with a peaceful, quiet environment. The “only adult zone” will be launched on flights between Amsterdam and Curaçao starting November 3.

According to the airline’s press release, this initiative will not only benefit those wishing for a serene flight, but also parents who can avoid potential reactions from fellow passengers to their children’s noise.

The adult-only zone, located in the plane’s front section, will comprise nine extra-large seats with additional legroom and 93 standard seats. It will be physically separated from other parts of the plane, ensuring a shielded environment conducive to a relaxed journey.

Additional charges apply for this service, with one-way tickets in the adult-only section costing an extra 45 euros (approx. $49). Extra-large seats will be priced at an additional 100 euros (around $108). The purchase of these seats is open to travelers aged 16 and up.
