Former President Donald Trump and his legal team remain unfazed by the increasing criminal charges he confronts, which could lead to several years of imprisonment, The Hill reported.
Alina Habba, an attorney and spokesperson for Trump, stated that Trump’s legal team is unconcerned about the charges and sees no need to prepare the ex-president for the numerous upcoming trials.
“President Trump is not your average person. He's incredibly intelligent and he knows the ropes. He also knows the facts because he lived them," Habba said.
Trump was recently charged in Fulton County, Georgia with 13 counts over an alleged plot to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the state. These charges are the result of a multi-year investigation led by District Attorney Fani Willis.
Trump was indicted four times this year, making him the first U.S. president to face criminal charges. He is also separately charged in Washington, D.C., Florida, and New York for various alleged offenses.
