Economic Data Scheduled For Friday

  • US jobs report for February is scheduled for release at 8:30 a.m. ET. Analysts expect nonfarm payrolls rising 175,000 in February following January's increase of 49,000. The unemployment rate is expected to remain unchanged at 6.3%.
  • International trade report for January will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. A deficit of $67.5 billion is projected for total goods and services trade versus a $66.6 billion deficit for December.
  • The Baker Hughes North American rig count report for the latest week will be released at 1:00 p.m.
  • Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Raphael Bostic is set to speak at 3:00 p.m. ET.
  • Data on consumer credit for January will be released at 3:00 p.m. ET. Consumer credit is likely to rise $13.0 billion in January from a $9.7 billion increase in December.
