Data on retail sales for September will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. Analysts expect retail sales rising 0.7% in September.
Data on industrial production for September will be released at 9:15 a.m. ET. Industrial production is projected to increase 0.6% for September from 0.4% in August.
Data on business inventories for August will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. A rise of 0.4% is expected for business inventories in August.
The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for October is scheduled for release at 10:00 a.m. ET. Consumer sentiment is projected to rise slightly to 80.5 in October from September's final reading of 80.4.
The Baker Hughes North American rig count report for the latest week is schedule for release at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard will speak at 1:35 p.m. ET.
The Treasury International Capital report for August is schedule for release at 4:00 p.m. ET.
