Economic Data Scheduled For Friday

  • Data on import and export prices for May will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. After falling 2.6% in April, a rise of 0.8% is expected in import prices for May. Export prices likely to increase 0.7% following a prior decline of 3.3%.
  • The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for June is scheduled for release at 10:00 a.m. ET. Analysts expect June's headline index rising to 75.0 from 72.3 in May.
  • The Baker Hughes North American rig count report for the latest week is scheduled for release at 1:00 p.m. ET.
