Apple Contractors Fired Following Eavesdropping Controversy
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) has let hundreds of European contractors go who listened to Siri recordings to check for errors, according to The Guardian.
The company laid off 300 contractors in Cork, Ireland alone, according to the report.
Apple shares were trading at $204.67 at the time of publication.
The stock has a 52-week low of $142 and a 52-week high of $233.47.
