  • Medpace Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: MEDP) shares fell 28 percent to $23.32 after the company reported downbeat quarterly earnings. Medpace also announced a $50 million share buyback plan.
  • Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNSS) dropped 20 percent to $2.93 after the company reported the withdrawal of European MAA for vosaroxin as a treatment for relapsed/refractory AML.
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) tumbled 19.7 percent to $10.94. AMD posted in-line earnings for its first quarter, while sales missed estimates. Macquarie downgraded AMD from Neutral to Underperform.

  • West Corp (NASDAQ: WSTC) fell 9.7 percent to $24.12. Apollo Global is aiming for West Corp to accept a $2 billion acquisition offer, Reuters reported.
  • Libbey Inc. (NYSE: LBY) shares slipped 9.5 percent to $9.68 as the company posted a wider-than-expected quarterly loss and revised its FY17 outlook.
  • Huttig Building Products Inc (NASDAQ: HBP) shares tumbled 8.7 percent to $8.18. Huttig Building reported a Q1 loss of $0.04 per share on revenue of $175.7 million.
  • Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc (NYSE: FDP) shares declined 8.6 percent to $55.30. Fresh Del Monte Produce posted Q1 earnings of $0.90 per share on revenue of $1.03 billion.
  • Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) dropped 6.3 percent to $42.83 on downbeat Q1 earnings.
  • Ballard Power Systems Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ: BLDP) fell 4.5 percent to $3.03. Ballard Power reported a Q1 loss of $0.02 per share on revenue of $22.7 million.
