There are four Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) that will hit the market on Thursday. Although the amount raised from IPOs in the current year is worse than the amounts since the 2008 financial crisis, some of the recent IPOs have generated strong interest.

Similarly, IMPINJ Inc PI's price more than doubled from the IPO price of $14.00, generating fresh interest among investors.
On Thursday, the following companies made their debut on public stock exchanges:
- Aquaventure Holdings Ltd WAAS: The company is a Water-as-a-Service provider and offered 6.5 million shares at a price of $18. The initial price range was $18.00–$20.00. The stock opened at $21.83 and ranged between $20.55 and $22.57.
- Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. ADSW: The company is engaged in collecting and recycling non-hazardous solid waste. The company offered 19.25 million shares at a price of $18.00 with initial price range of $18.00–$21.00. The stock opened at $20.25 and traded between $19.51 and $20.50.
- Coupa Software Inc COUP: The company is engaged in cloud-based software. Coupa offered 7.4 million shares at a price of $18.00 a share with initial price range of $16.00–$18.00. The stock opened at $39.20.
- Balon Therapeutics Inc OBLN: The medical device firm offered 5.0 million shares with a price range of $14.00–$16.00. The company priced it at $15.00 a share. The stock opened at $15.21 to reach $15.88 before traded down to a low of $14.70.
