The Dow fell 0.11 percent to 18,471.52, while the NASDAQ composite index rose 0.09 percent to 5,254.64. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index declined 0.10 percent to 2,177.86.

The worst performing industries in the market today are:

  • Farm & Construction Machinery: This industry slipped 1.7 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Lindsay Corporation LNN, which fell 2.5 percent. Lindsay shares have dropped 2.20 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has increased 10.69 percent in the same period.
  • Regional - Southwest Banks: This industry declined 1.6 percent by 11:00 am with Texas Capital Bancshares Inc TCBI moving down 3.1 percent. Texas Capital Bancshares shares have gained 0.72 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has increased 10.69 percent in the same period.
  • Regional - Pacific Banks: This industry fell 1.6 percent by 11:00 am ET. SVB Financial Group SIVB shares dropped 3.5 percent in today's trading. SVB Financial shares have dropped 11.85 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 10.69 percent in the same period.
  • Toys & Games: The industry dropped 1.5 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Mattel, Inc. MAT, which declined 2.1 percent.
