LIVE FROM RNC: Ivanka Trump Reflects On Her Father

"He prevailed against 16 very talented competitors. For more than a year, Donald Trump has been the people's champion and tonight he is the people's nominee," Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump said as she took the stage tonight during the Republican National Convention.

Ivanka says as a young millennial, she does not consider herself categorically democrat or republican. She wants to do what is best her and her country, she says.

"My father is a fighter. When the primaries got tough, he did what any great leader does. He dug deeper, got better, and became stronger," Ivanka said.

Ivanka describes her father as someone who is fighting for America. She said if it's possible to be famous and not really well known, that's how her father Donald Trump raised her.

She describes her father as someone who helped her become resilient, deal with challenges, and strive to accomplish whatever they want to do with an enduring work ethic.

"One of my father's greatest talents is potential to see talent in other people before seeing it in themselves," Ivanka said.

Ivanka describes her father as someone who not only has the strength and ability necessary to be our next president but also has the kindness and compassion necessary to be a leader that America needs.

"My father values talent. He recognizes real talent when he sees it. He is color blind and gender neutral," Ivanka commented.

Ivanka says you're not a builder if you don't have a building to show for it.

Ivanka added that when Donald Trump is in charge all that counts is ability, effort, and excellence.

Ivanka describes her father as someone who will fight for equal pay and equal work and she says she will fight right alongside of him. She says that Americans today need a economy that will permit them to rise again.

"When my Father says he will make America Great Again, he will deliver," Ivanka added.
