According to ABC News, the New York Lottery has launched a new instant game called Gold Castle, which is available on mobile devices.
Market News and Data brought to you by Benzinga APIsThe game is sold for $5 at lottery retailers, but can now be played as a mobile game, which is available for free download.
The players have to scan the bar code using their smartphones to create an image of a castle on the screen and then tap on it to reveal the prizes.
As reported by the Lottery Director Gardner Gurney and cited by ABC, other types of augmented reality games may be considered dependent upon Gold Castle's success.
