Envision Healthcare Holdings Inc EVHC shares rose 9.16 percent to $28.00 in pre-market trading. Envision Healthcare is said to be in discussions with Amsurg Corp AMSG, regarding a potential merger, according to sources as reported by Dow Jones on Wednesday. A deal could be announced as early as next week, the sources said.

Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P CLMT rose 7.89 percent to $6.15 in pre-market trading after surging 14.92 percent on Wednesday.

SolarCity Corp SCTY shares rose 5.07 percent to $24.24 in pre-market trading. Baird upgraded SolarCity from Neutral to Outperform.

J M Smucker Co SJM shares rose 3.23 percent to $137.00 in pre-market trading as the company reported stronger-than-expected earnings for its fourth quarter and offered upbeat forecast for the fiscal year 2017.

Sarepta Therapeutics Inc SRPT rose 3.14 percent to $20.05 in pre-market trading after the company announced a proposed offering of approximately $37.5 million in common stock.

Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc RH shares fell 20.43 percent to $28.70 in pre-market trading as the company reported weaker-than-expected earnings for the first quarter and lowered its full-year forecast. Deutsche Bank downgraded Restoration Hardware from Buy to Hold and lowered the price target from $50.00 to $35.00.

Insmed Incorporated INSM shares fell 17.57 percent to $9.90 in pre-market trading. Insmed reported that it has withdrawn its Marketing Authorization Application for ARIKAYCE in Europe.

Performance Sports Group Ltd PSG shares fell 8.46 percent to $3.19 in pre-market trading. Performance Sports Group named Harlan Kent as its new Chief Executive Officer and lowered its earnings outlook.

Tesco Corporation (USA) TESO shares fell 6.33 percent to $7.40 in pre-market trading. Tesco priced offering of 7 million shares at $7.00 per share.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation CHK shares fell 3.42 percent to $4.80 in pre-market trading. RBC Capital downgraded Chesapeake Energy from Sector Perform to Underperform.
