According to Asia Nikkei Review, Apple Inc. AAPL will only introduce minor changes to its upcoming iPhone, which is expected to be launched later this year.
The publication suggested that smartphone functions in its current form have little room for for major improvements and any new features will likely consist of an improved camera quality, water resistance technology and battery capacity.
On the other hand, Asia Nikkei stated that a 2017 iPhone will consist of major enhancements and improvements in design, including an organic electroluminescent display, which will be able to create more complex tactile vibrations.
Shares of Apple were trading lower by around 0.50 percent ahead of Tuesday's market open.
