Twitter Aligns With A Chinese Firm To Expand Its Global Presence

Twitter Inc TWTR has joined hands with a Chinese technology firm, LeEco, to expand its global presence. The alliance enables the Chinese firm to influence live communications platform. According to the companies, the advertising alliance would offer access to campaign-based analytics, as well as, custom research, resources and tactical advertiser tools apart from being the first to market advertiser innovation in the current year.

Twitter said that LeEco would be the first brand from China to get entry to its First View, which was a video-based advertising product. The company expressed its confidence of widening its presence globally.

The social media's First View helped marketing firms to reach a wider section of audience due to the exclusive ownership of its advertising real estate for all through the day. The advantage being, whenever the app is opened by the user, the top ad slot would be a promoted video from that brand in the timelines. The company is confident that marketers could portray a powerful visual story through its audience.

As one of the few digital marketing platforms with a global audience reach of over one billion people, Twitter is a strong partner for Chinese companies like LeEco that are targeting overseas markets and we can be their live connection to global culture."

Similarly, LeEco's North America operations head, Brian Hui, commented, "From streaming entertainment to smartphones to smart televisions to cars and more, LeEco's global vision of an internet ecosystem-powered future connects everything that matters to our consumers and partners.
