Fiat Vehicles Showed Irregular Levels Of Diesel Exhaust Pollution, Report Says

According to a report by Reuters, several Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE: FCAU)' Fiat branded vehicles showed irregular levels of diesel exhaust pollution.

Germany's Bild am Sonntag said an investigation by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) showed an emissions treatment system on an un-named Fiat car was throttled back after 22 minutes - a sign that the auto manufacturer could have installed technical devices or software to avoid emissions cleaning filters.
