Southwest Airlines To Hold A Conference Call On April 21

Southwest Airlines Co LUV disclosed that it would announce its financial results for the first quarter on April 21 before the market opens. It would also hold a conference call on the same day at 12.30 p.m. eastern time, according to the company. Southwest Airlines said that its Chairman, president and CEO, Gary Kelly, and its CFO, Tammy Romo, would address the question and answer during the conference call. The company indicated that its conference call can be accessed from its web address: http://investors.southwest.com/. The low-cost airline firm said that a live audio webcast would also be available and investors can go to www.southwest.com and click on "Investor Relations" under the "About Southwest" menu at the bottom of the page. Registrations start twenty minutes before the conference call starts. Street analyst estimates the airline firm to earn 84 cents a share and generate $4.81 billion revenue for the first quarter. Its earnings have surpassed the expectations in the last four quarters as the weak fuel price helps its profit. Shares of the company traded higher by 0.34% on Friday.
