GoPro Installs Hookit Valuation Methodology For Primary Multimedia Analysis

GoPro Inc GPRO, said, in a statement to the media, that it has deployed Hookit valuation methodology as a primary multimedia analysis and valuation solution. It would be useful for sponsored events, athletes, resorts and music properties, according to the company. GoPro said that Hookit was a data-powered sponsorship intelligence platform and expand its role considerably with its versatile camera. The company indicated that the tech provided an exacting solution to evaluate accurately and monitor the value, as well as, performance of sponsorships in the digital, physical, and social media landscapes. The wearable-camera maker's VP for Sports Entertainment Marketing, Todd Ballard, said, "Athlete and event sponsorship are an important part of GoPro's marketing strategy." He continued to say that "Hookit's innovative digital, social and streaming media measurement solutions help our team monitor the effectiveness of that strategy in real-time and ensure we are getting the maximum ROI at every turn." For its part, Hookit CEO, Scott Tilton, said that "Our close knit alliance with GoPro has been critical to our ability to continually refine, expand and improve the sophistication level of the Hookit platform. We take great pride in occupying such an important role for GoPro, and are excited to expand that role in helping them maximize the value of their substantial sponsorship strategy." On Tuesday, shares of the company traded higher by 1.28%.
