Market News and Data brought to you by Benzinga APIsTwitter followed up on Friday and announced the addition of 2 members to its Board of Directors. The company named Hugh Johnston and Martha Lane Fox as its newest board members, effectively immediately. Johnston currently serves as PepsiCo's Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer while Lane Fox was a co-founder and managing director of lastminute.com, a travel and lesiure website. According to Bloomberg, Twitter's lack of woman representation on its board has been a source of concern. Shares of Twitter were trading lower by more than 2 percent at $16.61 heading into Friday's final hour of trading.More additions to the board soon, ones that will bring diversity and represent the strong communities on Twitter. This matters & is a must.
