Pakistan authorities have launched a paramilitary crackdown on Islamist militants in the province of Punjab following Sunday's terrorist attack that killed 70 people. Islamist militants targeted a public park where many Christians gathered to celebrate Easter. A suicide bomber specifically targeted children in the park and at least 29 children were among those killed. According to Reuters, the Pakistani Taliban's Jammat-ur-Ahrar faction claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack. The terrorist organization once declared its loyalty to the Islamic State. Initial reports on Sunday placed the death toll at 60 with 300 more injured. In separate news, Facebook Inc FB apologized for an error in its Safety Check as many users not affected by the terrorist attack received a notification asking if users were okay. The company added that it is "worked quickly to resolve the issue."
