The worst performing industries in the market today are: Semiconductor- Memory Chips: This industry declined 4.1 percent by 11:00 am with Micron Technology, Inc. MU moving down 2.3 percent. Nomura downgraded Micron from Neutral to Reduce and lowered the price target to $8.00. Catalog & Mail Order Houses: This industry fell 2.4 percent by 11:00 am ET. Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN shares dropped 2.7 percent in today's trading. Amazon.com shares have gained 51.93 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has dropped 3.82 percent in the same period. Telecom Services - Foreign: The industry dropped 1.4 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Philippine Long Distance Telephone (ADR) PHI, which declined 3.2 percent. Philippine Long Distance Telephone's PEG ratio is -4.47. Foreign Regional Banks: This industry slipped 1.3 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Banco Bradesco SA (ADR) BBD, which fell 4.5 percent.
