Mexico Stock Exchange Resumes Trading

Trading on the Mexico's stock exchange resumed on Friday after it was suspended shortly in the morning. A spokesman for the bourse said technical problems caused a trading halt, according to a report by Reuters.

The bourse did not immediately provide an explanation for the suspension, the report said.

The benchmark IPC index was currently up 0.15 percent. The index clocked a gain of 0.06 percent before the trading halt.
