According to DigiTimes, Apple Inc. AAPL's major component suppliers for its iPhone 6s device will likely experience flat sales in the first half of 2016.
DigiTimes, citing "industry sources," stated that Apple notified its component suppliers that it will decrease its orders. The publication added that Apple is expected to introduce a 4-inch iPhone device, tentatively named iPhone 5se, the new contract orders won't make up the decreased orders for iPhone 6s devices.
Shares of Apple were trading lower by more than 1 percent at $93.54 Wednesday morning.
