Computers Wholesale: This industry gained 5.1 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Ingram Micro Inc.(NYSE: IM), which rose 22 percent. Ingram Micro agreed to be acquired by China's Tianjin Tianhai Investment Co Ltd for $38.90 per share in cash.

Diversified Computer Systems: This industry rose 1.7 percent by 10:30 am ET. The top performer in this industry was HP Inc (NYSE: HPQ), which gained 3 percent. HP shares have dropped 42.17 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has declined 8.14 percent in the same period.

Semiconductor - Specialized: The industry gained 1.4 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), which gained 9.4 percent. NVIDIA reported better-than-expected results for its fourth quarter on Wednesday.

Silver: This industry moved up 1.3 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Mines Management, Inc. (NYSE: MGN), which rose 5.1 percent.
