The landmark contract awarded to General Electric GE is valued roughly at $1 billion dollars and is scheduled for completion in 48 months.

In the press release, GE highlights that SEC will see added value from the features of their solar innovation technology. Earlier this year, GE and SEC signed a Memorandum of Understanding, for a joint venture that would extend operation and maintenance support to SEC kingdom power plants.

Currently, shares of GE are trading at $31.22 per share, up 0.56 percent on the day.
