- Shares of Netflix, Inc. NFLX were little changed Wednesday morning
- Netflix acknowledged Tuesday evening that is facing streaming issues affecting customers across multiple devices.
- The company confirmed later on in the evening that all streaming issues have been resolved.
Netflix's customer support Twitter account said on Tuesday evening that it is "aware of streaming issues on some devices." Customers across the US, Mexico, and Brazil were unable to stream content.
Hi all - we are aware of streaming issues on some devices & we are working quickly to solve them. We will update you when they are resolved.

More than 6,000 users reported an issue with the streaming video platform, according to Downdetector.com. Forty-one percent of visitors to the site reported a problem with video streaming, 40 percent reported a connectivity problem, and 17 percent reported log-in problems.
A streaming outage is uncommon for Netflix. The last time the company faced a similar issue was in January 2013, according to Variety.
Netflix's issues didn't last very long. Within an hour of initially confirming an outage, Netflix's Twitter account said the streaming issues have "now been resolved."
Netflix's outage may demonstrate a reliance on smartphones and other devices for entertainment. Facebook Inc FB saw its social media platform go down three times in the span of a month.
"It's always news when Facebook goes down, because the service is so incredibly reliable," Venture Beat commented on the third outage on September 28. "But three times in the span of 11 days? That's unprecedented."
