Wausau Paper Corp. (NYSE: WPP) shares climbed 38.13 percent to $10.07 after the company agreed to be acquired by SCA for $10.25 per share.

NewBridge Bancorp (NASDAQ: NBBC) gained 21.62 percent to $10.79 after the company agreed to be acquired by Yadkin Financial Corp (NYSE: YDKN) for $11.40 per share.

Zosano Pharma Corp (NASDAQ: ZSAN) shares surged 14.14 percent to $3.18 after the company reported positive Phase 2 results for its ZP-Glucagon patch program for the treatment of severe hypoglycemia.

Aoxing Pharmaceutical Company Inc (NYSE: AXN) jumped 11.54 percent to $1.74 following earnings report. Aoxing Pharma reported FY15 earnings of $0.09 per share on sales of $25.48 million.

Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE: TAP) shares surged 9.21 percent to $86.00. SABMiller plc (ADR) (OTC: SBMRY) and Anheuser Busch Inbev SA (ADR) (NYSE: BUD) agreed to a $106 billion merger deal.

Protalix BioTherapeutics Inc. (NYSE: PLX) shares rose 8.33 percent to $1.17 after the company reported that it has sold its share in the collaboration agreement for ELELYSO to its commercialization partner Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) for $36 million.

Anheuser Busch Inbev SA (ADR) (NYSE: BUD) rose 1.76 percent to $113.45. SABMiller plc (ADR) (OTC: SBMRY) and AB InBev agreed to a $106 billion merger deal.

Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) rose 1.60 percent to $29.21 after the company announced plans to cut about 8 percent of its workforce, or up to 336 employees and issued guidance at the high end of estimates.
