The worst performing industries in the market today are: Silver: This industry declined 2.7 percent by 11:00 am with Fortuna Silver Mines Inc FSM moving down 5.5 percent. Silver futures fell 0.90 percent to trade at $14.38 an ounce. Diversified Communication Services: The industry dropped 2.2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Voltari Corp VLTC, which declined 5.9 percent. Voltari shares have jumped 395.18 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has slipped 1.23 percent in the same period. Synthetics: This industry tumbled 2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Axiall Corp AXLL, which fell 3.1 percent. Axiall's trailing-twelve-month ROE is 1.74 percent. Telecom Services - Foreign: This industry fell 1.9 percent by 11:00 am ET. Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp (ADR) NTT shares dropped 5.4 percent in today's trading.
