The worst performing industries in the market today are: Appliances: This industry declined 2 percent by 11:00 am with Whirlpool Corporation WHR moving down 2 percent. Whirlpool's trailing-twelve-month profit margin is 3.25 percent. Foreign Utilities: The industry dropped 1.3 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was CPFL Energia S.A. (ADR) CPL, which declined 2.3 percent. CPFL Energia's PEG ratio is 2.78. Foreign Regional Banks: This industry tumbled 1.1 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Banco Bradesco S.A. BBDO, which fell 6.9 percent. Banco Bradesco shares have dipped 59.56 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has slipped 2.77 percent in the same period. Semiconductor - Integrated Circuits: This industry fell 1 percent by 11:00 am ET. Taiwan Semiconductor Mfg. Co. Ltd. (ADR) TSM shares dropped 1.6 percent in today's trading. Taiwan Semiconductor reported a 3.2 percent year-over-year drop in its August sales.
