The worst performing industries in the market today are: Synthetics: This industry declined 2.6 percent by 11:00 am with Axiall Corp AXLL moving down 2.1 percent. Axiall's trailing-twelve-month ROE is 1.74 percent. Foreign Utilities: The industry dropped 2.3 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was CPFL Energia S.A. (ADR) CPL, which declined 2.4 percent. CPFL Energia's PEG ratio is 2.58. Foreign Regional Banks: This industry tumbled 2.2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Banco Santander Brasil SA (ADR) BSBR, which fell 4.6 percent. Banco Santander Brasil shares have declined 42.31 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has slipped 2.33 percent in the same period.
