The worst performing industries in the market today are:
Copper: This industry declined 1.5 percent by 11:50 am with Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE: FCX) moving down 2.8 percent. Freeport-McMoRan's PEG ratio is 2.63.
Diversified Computer Systems: The industry dropped 1.1 percent by 11:50 am. The worst performer in this industry was Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR), which declined 4.1 percent. Xplore Technologies reported a Q4 loss of $0.05 per share.
Industrial Metals & Minerals: This industry tumbled 1 percent by 11:50 am. The worst stock within the industry was Peabody Energy Corporation (NYSE: BTU), which fell 10.3 percent. Peabody Energy's trailing-twelve-month ROE is -26.64 percent.
Nonmetallic Mineral Mining: This industry fell 1 percent by 11:50 am ET. Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: ANR) shares dropped 7.3 percent in today's trading.
