Facebook Inc FB “dominates” the social media logins according to a report from eMarketer.com.
Based on industry data, Facebook’s share of social media logins was between 63 percent and 72 percent in Q1.
Google Inc GOOG GOOGL came in a distant second with 16 percent, based on data from Gigya, while Twitter Inc TWTR accounted for 7 percent of logins.
Yahoo! Inc. YHOO accounted for only 1 percent of logins on mobile devices in the first quarter of 2015.
eMarketer estimated “there will be nearly 2 billion social network users worldwide this year, and 80.6% of these users will log on via mobile phones. Fully 62.4% of social networkers globally will use Facebook in 2015, and 70.1% of Facebook’s user base will access the site on mobile phones,” according to the site.
Facebook Inc recently traded at $82.10, up 0.70 percent.
