Extreme Networks Strengthens Management Team With Three New Executive Appointments

Extreme Networks, Inc. EXTR, a leader in high performance networking, today announced the promotions of Bob Gault, Eileen Brooker and Norman Rice to its executive leadership team. These executives have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to customers and a passion for the highest levels of service in the networking industry throughout their careers. Bob Gault will take leadership responsibility as executive vice president for Extreme Networks' worldwide sales, channel and services organizations. Previously, Extreme's services team reported to research and development. Gault joined Extreme Networks five months ago from Cisco where he was the global leader of its cloud and managed services partner organization. He brings 26 years of experience in sales, worldwide distribution and channel program leadership. Eileen Brooker has been promoted to executive vice president of global alliances and strategic accounts. She brings more than 20 years of global sales, operations and business development experience in the networking technology industry. She has been a relentless advocate for Extreme's largest customers over the past ten years and one of the highest performing sales professionals in our history. Previously, Brooker worked for IBM, Toshiba and NEC. Norman Rice has been appointed as executive vice president of global marketing and corporate development. He is the architect of Extreme's wireless and software services strategy and the founder of our sports venue business, highlighted by Extreme's exclusive relationship with the NFL. Rice has over 15 years of senior management experience in sales, marketing, business development and M&A. "I am thrilled to have executives of this caliber join our executive team.
